Question : Windows 7 creates new profile on every login

i have a computer that has several user accounts, on one particular account everytime it is opoened it recreates the account, under c:/users there is a new user called temp.computername-PC.001

why is this happening and how can i revert the profile back to the original?

that didnt work, i have removed the offending profile and recreatred it - seems to be ok now
