Question : W7 - windows explorer

Windows Explorer (both launched from scratch, as well as SAVE/OPEN file selection dialog boxes)    Somehow the default keeps resetting back to show thumbnails and icons, I prefer the detail listing view.

How can i get detail listing view format to be the default?

Answer : W7 - windows explorer

Go to Computer and explore

Set the view to Detail listing view

press ALT and the menu should appear at the top.

Select 'Tools'

Select 'Folder Options'

Select 'View'

In Folder View click the 'Apply to all folders' button and agree.

All your folders will then be in detail listing view
