Question : Are Windows Notepad files stored anywhere temporarily?

In Vista, I accidentally closed a notepad file that had not been saved.  The file had quite a bit of data in it.  Is that stored anywhere temporarily or have I lost the contents of the notepad file.  Thanks,

not that I know of but if you want to double check you could run a program like procmon (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx), then open notepad, filter procmon's results for notepads process ID and the createfile operation, then look for the creation of a temporary work file  (i just did this and didn't find any)
