Question : Mailbox not appearing in Exchange 2003 ESM

Windows Server 2003  Latest SP
Exchange 2003.  SP2
Hello,
I added a domain user account called [email protected] using ADUC.
I created a mailbox when I created the account above.
I do not see a mailbox in ESM though for this account.
Could it be that I never logged in with this account (because I have not).
It is just an account to receive email  backup notifications.

the mailbox must be accessed once to initialize
