Question : Connecting Outlook 2007 to Exchange 2010 a Password is required each time outlook is opened
Hello,
I have recently migrated from SBS2003 to a Server 2008 box running Exchange 2010. I am working through the little stuff now and I cannot seem to find a solution for this.
When I open Outlook 2007 from a clients machine I am prompted for a username and password everytime. Once the username and password is entered everything seems OK except when doing a send/recieve I get the error "Task '
[email protected]
' reported error (0x8004010F) : 'The operation failed. An object could not be found" This error does not seem to cause any issues sending or recieving mail but I thought I would include it.
What I am wanting her is for the windows credentials to automatically pass through to the Exchange servers so the users do not need to enter the password at all whne opening Outlook.
I have seen numerous articles on the settings in IIS and setting the authenication to Windows enable with the kerbos box checked...Did not work. Also I have checked the cert for allof the appropriate names and everything looks good there. I am creating the cert then signing it using another 2008 server configured as the Certificate Authority to sign it. This is all in a test environment as I am trying to get everything ironed out before performing the actual migration.
Any help or advise would be greatly appriciated.
Thank in advance...

Fine, since the web distribution is grayed out we will create a new oab
Create a new oab, enabled web based distribution and make it as default.. This should work..
