Question : LG LCD TV (55LH90) and bdvt11 home theatre system

I bought both of these items and I wanted to know how I could hear the soround sound on my home threatre system while watching TV.  It seems as though I can hear the home theatre system just fine when I play DVD's / Blue Rays, but can't seem to get the correct settings when attempting to hear just the regular cable stations on my tv.  I have satellite cable and do not have a box, just the coaxil cable that goes to my Tv.  And I have an HDMI cable going from my BDVt11 to my LG LCD tv.

What do I need, do I need to buy a saparate device?  Or just don't know how to configure this option.  What do I need to do?

Answer : LG LCD TV (55LH90) and bdvt11 home theatre system

The HDMI cable connection is only one direction.  ie from your BDVt11 to your TV.

You have 2 options - one you like and one you do not like.

1. see the picture below.  There is an optical out on your TV - I got this picture from your manual.  You need to connect this OUT to the BDVt11 IN.

2. You need a receiver in between your cable and your tv which has some form of outs.  You would then send the picture to your TV and sound to your BDvt11
