Dear All, I am getting the old dreaded 0X8004010F while trying to download the OAB from my local newly Exchange 2010.
Here is what I have: 1. A Godaddy certificate for IMAP, POP, IIS, and SMTP for office.domain.com 2. Created a new local Certificate for internal user EXCHServer.domain.local 3. Added autodiscover.domain.local to local DNS server 4. Created a new OAB and made it default
From some reason nothing helps. What am I missing here?
Here are the event viewer errors I am getting:
Log Name: Application Source: MSExchangeSA Date: 6/6/2010 9:34:29 PM Event ID: 9390 Task Category: (13) Level: Warning Keywords: Classic User: N/A Computer: exchserver.domain.local Description: OALGen failed to find the OAB version 4 manifest file '\\exchserver\ExchangeOAB\62e39e84-d7d4-4725-ad82-7c99655e02cf\oab.xml'. This is normal if it is the first time this offline address list has been published to the file system. Check other logged events to see if this is a serious error.

To see which entries are affected, set event logging for the offline address list generator to at least medium.

Here is the Outlook 2007 error I am getting:
21:32:51 Synchronizer Version 12.0.6509 21:32:51 Synchronizing Mailbox 'Administrator' 21:32:51 Synchronizing Hierarchy 21:32:51 1 folder(s) updated in online store 21:32:52 Done 21:33:13 Microsoft Exchange offline address book 21:33:13 Not downloading Offline address book files. A server (URL) could not be located. 21:33:13 0X8004010F
Quick background, I finished migrating from Exchange 2003 to Exchange 2010 couple of hours ago, and that is after I let all mailboxes migrated for 27 hours. Everything else works smooth.
Do I need to add autodiscover.domain.com even though all queries are internal?
Perhaps my internal certificate is bad or needed to be recreated with a specific settings?
Thanks a bunch for your help.

Answer : Not downloading Offline address book files. A server (URL) could not be located. 0X8004010F

You should only have 1 certificate and it should be a SAN/UCC certificate with the following names in:
owa.domainname.com ( your outkook web access URL) autodiscover.domainname.com (where domainname.com is the part after the @ in your email address) servername.domainname.local (the internal FQDN of your server)
but the issue here looks like you have set the OAB to use public folder distribution and there is either something wrong with the public folders or they were not replicated properly.
