Question : Citrix not finding the license server

I decided to try out Citrix, so I downloaded Xenapp 5 and a trial license. When I retrieved the license, it said nothing about what version of Xenapp it was for. I installed the platinum edition of Xenapp on a virtual server, so I could explore the whole thing. I then later installed the licensing server on the same virtual machine, copied the licenses to the correct directory and imported them into the server with http://servername/lmc. When I restart the server I still get the message that the license server can not be contacted. I then opened Access Management Console and added shortcuts to the licensing server under Licensing. I did this by adding the server name. When I retrieved the license I was sure that the server name was correct (same as netbios name) with regards to case sensitivity. I am still getting a message at startup that the licensing server could not be located. In the event viewer I can see that the Citrix Monitoring Agent was unable to start up. I also see an event 9009 that says that "Citrix XenApp is unable to retrieve the license server location. Check to see if the Citrix Independent Management Architecture service is running without errors. If necessary, set the license server location in the Access Management Console." Wich I thought I had done. IMA service seems to be running ok.

So, any tips to get this right?
I am running Citrix on Windows 2008.

Answer : Citrix not finding the license server

Seems like I fixed the problem myself. If I go to properties on the Farm name in the Access Management Console -> Server Default -> License Server, I can specify the license server. I was unaware that I had to do this there. After doing this, things worked nicely :)
