We are writting a maintenance script to do basic maintenance on PCs we have.
Just to be on the safe side, we want to create a system restore point before the maintenance starts.
Since the maintenance tasks are in a script, we need the system restore point to be created as part of the script.
What this means is that the system restore point needs to be created from like a command line command or a VB script command or even a script of its own which can be called from our main maintenance script.
I don't know if it is possible at all so if it is and if anyone has done this, let me know.
I need this for XP, Vista and 7.
