Question : WRT54G2 Linksys router - reset password saving actual configuration

Experts,

I have a WRT54G2 Linksys Router that I forgot my username and password. Is there a way to factory default this equipment WITHOUT loosing the existing configuration?  Or there is no way around it?
I have some wireless devices attached to them that I really don't want to reconfigure.

No.  Higher end routers typically have a CLI interface that allows you to reset passwords or save configuration settings when unable to login to the web interface.  Devices such as yours don't have that...sorry.  I'd wait though.  Perhaps someone has an idea.
