Question : Forefront Server Security for Exchange SBS 2008
Having an issue with a sbs 2008 server, as it is constantly downloading from the internet (on average 30mb per hour). At this rate my internet usage reaches 100% quite quickly then the internet is shaped.
I checked the event viewer and there are 2 errors logged that i beileve are the cause for this:

Description: Unable to acquire the scan engine update mutex within the designated timeout period.
Do i need to have forefront server security for exchange installed if i have 3rd party security software, and will it effect the exchange server if i remove forefront?

PS- If un-installing Forefront, first stop the FSCController service in the services management console. You can then remove using programs and features in the control panel
