Question : Office Communicator 2005 Web Access wont load

Hello everyone.

I have a windows 2003 64bit Ent Ed. SP2 server that I have installed CWA on. The install went smooth but I notice that under the isapi filters section within IIS the cwaauth.dll is not loaded. It has a red arrow pointing down. The error in the log is:

ISAPI Filter 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office Communicator Web Access\cwaauth\cwaauth.dll' could not be loaded due to a configuration problem. The current configuration only supports loading images built for a AMD64 processor architecture.

How can I make this work.

I think what you are refering to is the AutoComplete feature.  You can use the system default autocomplete on a textbox, or use the autocomplete ajax extender on the textbox.  Either way, it is a TextBox you will be using and the dropdown suggestions are handled either by the system or by AJAX.. If you want custom results based on the input, you will need to use the AJAX route.
