Question : what is the readon  for "ORA-12560 TNS PROTOCOL ADAPTOR ERROR" ?

when  i enter into oracle8i, i entered username="internal" password="tiger"

it worked properly.  and logged in sucessfully.

but now i have got following  problem.


 "ORA-12560 TNS PROTOCOL ADAPTOR ERROR" ?

what is the reason   for this problem?

how to rectify this problem ?
