Question : SQL2005 View being forced to Encrypted

I am trying to migrated a view from a development to a test region in SQL2005.  No matter what I have tried, the view comes over with a padlock on it for all but dbo and under properties/general it shows as encrypted.  There is nothing special about this view and we have migrated many before with no issues, including in this database and against the table.  Any ideas?  I was thinking of giving the role "View Definition" rights, but would love to know what caused it to begin with.

Answer : SQL2005 View being forced to Encrypted

1) have you done a server reboot.

2) Clear Internet cache

if this fails, start rolling back the fixes added on Wednesday until it works again.
