Question : "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" is gey out in Windows 2008

I need to propagate security from parent folder to objects in Windows 2008 but the case "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" is gey out and unchecked even if I logged in as a local administrator. How to fixe it?

take ownership.  yes, even as administrator.
