Question : How do I know if my laptop has a spyware?

Hi,

Yesterday, I was surfing the internet using safari, suddenly, the screen goes white blank & msg. was written on it "your computer was hacked".

Is there an application that can scan my laptop & tells me if there are spy-ware inside it

It could be a faulty or incomplete flash player installation.

Uninstall completely: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html

Then reinstall: http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html

Also check your video driver and installed video codecs.
