Question : Setting up DNS records for a small business with a new domain
This small business just bought their domain, widgets.com, and I need to configure their DNS records to flow mail to them and to be able to access their Small Business Server 2008 by browsing to
https://mail.widgets.com/r
emote
.
Their registrar & DNS manager is GoDaddy.
We'll say their public static IP address is 111.222.333.444.
What A record(s) do I need?
What CNAME record(s) do I need?
How do I point their MX recrod(s)?
Thanks.
Answer : Setting up DNS records for a small business with a new domain
I figured it out, I had to use the static nat option instead of the network IP option in the policy
