Question : Inventory System (Freeware) Recommendation

Hi All,

I am looking for an inventory system (freeware) to replaced the our system.  we are now using the "Information Resource Manager ( IRM  -  http://irm.stackworks.net/ ) , but my supervisor thinks this GNU free app isn't that nice to work with.  

Just want to see if any of you are using an free inventory system that you would recommend.  thanks all
