Question : What do the lights mean on a standard network connector card?

Right next to the connect are two small leds. Light "A" that is green, and light "B" that is amber. Sometimes light "B" is green. Sometimes it is flashing. Sometimes now lit at all.

What does this all mean?

Answer : What do the lights mean on a standard network connector card?

The two lights mean two different things. One signifies a physical connection, the other signifies activity.

One should flicker during normal network activity while the other remains stable.

If one is amber, or not lit, there could be network issues... :)
