Question : How to check Public Folder replication
Hi
I have an Exch 2K3 SP2 Public Folder server and have been replicating all PF data to a new public folder server. I have been replicating for over a week now and got the new pub1.edb to within 97% of the original db files. I am missing about 10GB and have about 10mb of whitespace in the original DB so am about 9.9GB down.
I have resent changes for a period older than any of the data on the server (1500 days was last one) and the gap stays the same.
I am looking for a way to figure out what has not yet replicated fully and what files/folders are causing a problem or to confirm it is 100% replicated so I can rebuild the original PF server.
As you can probably tell I have a lot of data across 10,000s of folders and over 1.5million emails in them so going through the folders one by one is not a viable solution.
Does anyone know of a way to check the Sync status of multiple folders or force a mass re-sync again for all PFs (other than Resend Changes)??
Cheers
C
Answer : How to check Public Folder replication
you can check it from the top folders, if a child folder is not replicated then it will be reflected in the parent folder. if parent folders are in sync then the PF is replicated
