Question : the specified user does not exist?
I am trying to setup backup to disk folders in backup exec 2010. I can browse to the folder i want to use which is on a seagate blackarmour NAS 440. I can select the folder but when i click on ok to create the new backup to disk folder i get an error that says "The specified user does not exist."
I am very new to backup exec and do not know what user they are referring to--the user logged into the server? I can map to the drive and see the share I am going to when I do a net view at a c: prompt.
Can anyone offer any advice or insight into this?

Answer : the specified user does not exist?
Thanks very much those are good resources, however my problem was that I needed to specify the username for the service accounts in the form domain\username where i just had username.
