Suddenly my pc didn't want to give me any more sound...I have no icon for the sound in the system tray any longer. On my Windows XP SP3 machine there is also Realtek installed, when I use the software there to test the machine I can hear the demo noise which means that the hardware okay is, I guess.
Okay, so I want to go to the control panel to check if Realtek is controlling my sound driver or not. Nope, I cannot access the different possibilities - everything is greyed out under sound.
Now what?
Sorry about the cryptic explanations, I just don't use English on my PC....
