Question : Exchange Edge Transport Issues

Topology: Two Edge Servers, 1 Hub. Exchange 2007
Edge servers are edg1.fqdn.com & edg2.fqdn.com

Previously named discover1.fqdn.com & discover2.fqdn.com
Forward lookups have been changed.
Machine names have been changed.

Issue:
PTR is set correctly etc, but the exchange Banner announces discover1.fqdn.com instead of edg1.fqdn.com which is causing bounce backs.

Question:
1. Need a way to change the banner fqdn on exchange's 220.
2. Where is exchange getting discover1.fqdn.com from?
Note: Changing it on the Hub won't work, we've tried, endlessly.
