Question : Any tips on cleaning up Outlook emails which have been sitting from ages ?

We have Win2K server as AD,file server, exchange(2003).

We have about 35 users

There are some 3-4 users whose outlook emails might be around 8GB+

We are in the process of asking the users to cleanup there unwanted emails , and I know its
a tedious job as there are thousands of emails in each folder.

So I wanted to know from experts or people who have already done this, any points you could
add to this list, which is for sure we can delete:

1. Delete all redundant emails.  Lets say if we have the same email exchanged between users
multiple times, all I need to keep is the latest one which has all the records of the previous
emails and delete the rest of them.  For this I found a tool called EasyMailTrimmer.

2.  I might be getting some tons of emails where were just copied to me, and to which I never
replied, as these emails are just copied to me, for informative purpose. How to identify them
and delete ? Any tool which does the job .

Let me know if there are any other emails which I can delete, rather than digging up those thousands of emails.

hi yac678,

There is no way to tell what their market share is for the keyword.  The best way is to estimate based on leaked AOL data from several years ago (Linked to below). Unfortunately, This data isn't as accurate as it could be as:
It is from AOL, not Google
It is a few years old

This is the best info available now though.  I would guess that these percentages would become more skewed towards the number one position.
