Question : Using multiple routers - BEFVP41 VPN Router, Netgear WDR3700
I have a BEFVP41 VPN router that I have used at my home office to establish connection with a client network which also uses the same router. I recently got a Netgear WNDR3700 to allow greater bandwidth for my home network internet service, but it does not have VPN endpoints or ability to create tunnels.
Is there a way to configure the BEFVP41 with the Netgear router to allow use of the BEFVP41 VPN services?
I have Vista Business at home. The client has a mix of XP, Vista & 7 with a Win 2003 Server. The server has one NIC. I believe to set up VPN on the server I would have to add a second NIC, not sure about additional licenses.
This is not a rush. I am open to suggestions and ideas. I have tried TheGreenbow. I get a tunnel but cannot ping the network computers which is a problem I have not encountered with other Greenbow installs.. I have also setup some RDT connections which work fine, but I am limited to the number of ports I can forward and the connection is not as stable as the BEFVP41 tunnels.
So, I hope this sparks some good discussion and learning opportunities.

i think i was concerned that i router mode, vpn services might be disabled. if not, then i would agree that this would be the preferrable mode.
