Question : undeliverable SBS 2003 Alert message, but not really

I just redirected alert messages from a now-departed sysadmin to myself. Now I am getting messages from postmaster to administrator saying the my email address is undeliverable. The odd thing is that administrator is forwarded to my same email address and the "undeliverable" message, together with the attached original message arrive at my supposedly undeliverable address just fine.

I'm confused! Can anyone help me figure out the mystery? I have attached the fully body and headers of the message received at my supposedly undeliverable address.
