Question : Acronis True Image 11 Home stops in the middle of the job

My Acronis TIH 11 worked OK for a couple of years but lately it starts the backup job and then stops at about 56 percent completion. The resulting backup file is corrupted and cannot be used for restore. I removed and reinstalled TIH 11 but it still does not complete the job.
Any idea how to solve the problem (Win XP pro)

What antivirus do you use? Try to disable antivirus for the time of backup.
Also test your HDD for bad sectors using HDD vendor tools. Backup software could stop working due to failing hard drive.
