Question : Extend the size of my boot partition
I have a windows 2008 storage server. The original boot partition c:\ was 40 gb in size. This is a raid 1 drive which has an aditional 700+ gb of un partioned space available. I extened the volume within the HP raid controller and then the aditional unpartioned space became visable in the windows disk manager. I extened the drive in the windows disk manager and when you look at the graphic it says the drive is now 800 GB's. However when I click on it properties it only shows it bein 40 gb's in size with 200 mb of disk space left. The raid controller has finished its expansion and it has been in this state for a few days. I have re-booted, but no change.
Answer : Extend the size of my boot partition
If one of your drives is OK the way you want it, break the mirror and re-mirror the drive to the other.
