Question : System Restore Points Not Created on Win 7

No automatic system restore points seem to run although I can create a manual restore point.

This is a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit workstation. It was upgraded from Vista Ultimate 64-bit.

System Restore is set to operate on only the system partition C:.

The Windows task exists in the task scheduler and is enabled. There are two triggers, the one at startup delayed by 30 minutes and the one that runs at 7:00 PM (I changed the time from midnight when the PC is rarely on).

In the task scheduler history the task seems to run with an operational code of (2). But the restore points do not get set.

Any suggestions how to fix this?

Thanks,
Pete
