Question : Exchange 2010 Domain Prep
Right now I have a Window 2008 parent domain and and Windows 2008 child domain. My parent doman is an empty domain and all of my servers including my Exchange 2003 exchange server are in my child domain.
Yesterday I ran all of the setup /AD prep switch to update my schema. IN my parent domain I see the Microsot Exchange OU and new Exchange Install Domain Server Global group. Yet I do not see these OU or groups in my child domain.
Do I need to run any of the Exchange prep command in my child domain
Answer : Exchange 2010 Domain Prep
Yes you need to run the /prepareAD domain on your child domain also.
Although the Exchange 2010 installation will do this for you if it hasn't been done.
