Question : Moving shares in SBS server 2008

I just set up a new SBS 2008, I need to move the User shares and public shares to the D: drive.
I followed the instructions, copied the folders then pasted them on to the new drive and set up shares to the right people.
I have a few questions though.
1. Is what I did the right proceedure?
2. What is the FolderRedirections folder for? Do I need to keep it?
3. Does me moving these folders affect Exchange?
4. Lastly I set up the new permissions and they work fine HOWEVER when I ran the wizard to redirect the users desktop, documents it does not appear to be working.

Answer : Moving shares in SBS server 2008

I thought you said the old folders were gone from C?  That you had deleted them and they only existed now on D?

First rule, you never make changes to the server without backups

To the best of my knowledge there is no document from MS about default permissions on those folders

Let me take a look and I'll post back later today
