Question : Remote Routing and Access Internet
I’m having problems with my Windows Server 2008 R2 machine. I’ve configured everything I need to, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and remote routing and access.
However with remote routing an access I can’t seem to get it to send the internet to the client machines, despite everything being configured correctly as far as I’m aware. The server is able to access the internet, however the computers cannot also ping the DNS server of the router.
I’ve tried setting the server up with Internet Connection Sharing and that seem to be working correctly allowing access to the internet. But i'm lost as to which part i've gone wrong on.

Hi,
I’ve since fixed this problem with internet access. Turns out that I forgot to add the routing role, which provides support for NAT and LAN routing etc. This is why I was unable to connect to the internet on the client machines.
