Question : Microsoft Clustering on VMWare ESX 4

Hi,

Not a specific error but a request for any advice or real-world scenarios.

We run a multiple web-site platform with SQL back-end on a hosted VMWare solution (ata a provider who will remain nameless) We are looking to put a new resilient system in and to that end want to run front-end load-balanced 2008 Web edition with 2 back-end clusters, one for SQL and one for the actual web-sites. We are being frustrated by our supplier who insists they will not support MS clustering because HA is enabled on the vmware platform and because they have vmotion installed. What do other people do in this kind of scenario
