Question : Zonealarm (free version) gives you pop-ups?
There are SO MANY free software packages out there! I've used Zonealarm (ZA) for years. I placed the free version of ZA on my clients computers for years. Now ZA has decided to make life difficult by placing an everlasting pop that continues to ask the person who is using the computer to upgrade to their payed version.
So, currently I am looking a finding a new Firewall that is free and without the pop-ups. I do have a computer that is using Outpost. I've not had any problems with Outpost even tho I must admit that their pop-ups are strange at first...
Outpost currently is my choice for a free firewall. Does the free version of Outpost contain pop-ups begging/reminding the user to buy the software? I have the paid version of Outpost.

Sunbelt software bought a very good firewall company several years ago and they have improved on it. There is a free version worth considering:
