Question : HP dl380 g6 - esxi server need to add a usb licensing dongle to a virtual machine
Hi all
i need to add a single usb dongle for licensing purposes for 1x virtual machine
(windows vista x64)
running inside a hp dl380g6 server.
i´ve read various methods for doing this and it seems i have two choices
1. get a usb over network solution
2. use VMDirectPath
i think that if i can use the VMDirectPath solution that would be the best since usb over network solution costs money, therefor i just want to confirm that VMDirectPath does indeed work with our specific server, we have alot of critical virtual servers running on the server and i dont want to screw anything up if i decide to follow this guide,
basically what i really need to know is if the
