Question : How to Install Excel Spreadsheet writer PEAR package

Hopefully this question has a simple answer.

I have to install the Excel Spreadsheet writer PEAR package on my web server.
Problem is that it is a shared server and i don't have access to the command prompt.
The server is running PHP 5.2.12 and does have PEAR installed along with several PEAR packages.

All the references i have found always say "from the command line".  
How do i install without the command line?
