You must reset or power cycle for new config to take effect
rommon 2 >reset

Then it restarts and still enters rommon..... I have tweaked it around a little but noting that works...

Anyone that know?

Answer : Cisco 2610 Router! Stock in the rommon prompt!?

Most likely the router is missing the system image.  You can TFTP the IOS to it via the following procedure.
