Hello!
When im about to start my newly brought cisco router(a used 2610 model) It seems to roll on fine and all but enters "rommon>" automaticly and I can't seem to change the setings in confreg to make it boot normaly. This is the settings I find most fitting in my head for what should work...
do you wish to change the configuration? y/n [n]: y
disable "diagnostic mode"? y/n [n]: n
disable "use net in IP bcast address"? y/n [n]: n
enable "load rom after netboot fails"? y/n [n]: n
enable "use all zero broadcast"? y/n [n]: y
disable "break/abort has effect"? y/n [n]: n
enable "ignore system config info"? y/n [n]: n
change console baud rate? y/n [n]: n
change the boot characteristics? y/n [n]: y
enter to boot:
0 = ROM Monitor
1 = the boot helper image
2-15 = boot system

Configuration Summary
enabled are:
diagnostic mode
use net in IP bcast address
use all zero broadcast
break/abort has effect
console baud: 9600
boot: the boot helper image

You must reset or power cycle for new config to take effect
rommon 2 >reset
Then it restarts and still enters rommon..... I have tweaked it around a little but noting that works...
Anyone that know?

Most likely the router is missing the system image. You can TFTP the IOS to it via the following procedure.
