Question : gpupdate problem Windows 7 Professinal 32 bit
I have a 2003 windows server that is my domain controler.
When i try to do gpupdate /force or gpupdate on a windows 7 client i get a error that i can't update the computer settings.
Error message:
The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows could not resolve the computer name. This could be caused by one of more of the following:
a) Name Resolution failure on the current domain controller.
b) Active Directory Replication Latency (an account created on another domain controller has not replicated to the current domain controller).
I will post a screenshot of the event id. But it is in dutch.
I have tryed gpupdate /force on a cmd screen with administrator rights. The user has local admin rights to.
I have tryed gpupdate on a cmd screen with administrator rights.
I have tryed running both commands with the domain administrator logged on the pc. I have 1 other windows 7 professional pc in my netwerk and that is updating without any errors.
