Question : Delphi 5 Could not create output file

Hi all,

I have an old application that I built in Delphi 5 and I need to change something. So I installed Delphi 5 again, opened the project file and tried to build the project.
This last part fails with the message "[Fatal Error] Could not create output file 'c:\Path\MyApp.exe'.

I don't understand why? Any suggestions?

Answer : Delphi 5 Could not create output file

In the Project Options, it has a specific output directory set to "C:\Path\".
Clear it or set it somewhere that exists.
