Question : Autoarchive Outlook deleted items

Hi

My customers executive wants to autoarchive deleted items so he can come back if need. The setup is this

Exchange 2003
RPC over HTTPS Outlook 2007 Client

He has tried this without success (nothing happens).

“if you right click the deleted items folder and choose properties there is a tab for 'autoarchive'. you can change the location and time of the autoarchive in there.”

What do you suggest?

that is where you configure your settings but it won't happen automatically unless you schedule it through auto archive options

SO right click on deleted items>properties>configure where and how old then run it manually

To run it manually go to File>Auto Archive>select Archive all folders according to their Auto Archive settings"

otherwise leave it and it will archive it according to your autoarchive schedule (if configured) which you can find in Tools>options>Other tab>Auto Archive
