Question : How to determine source of error on 3750-stack?
Hi
We have a Cisco 3750-stack. In the syslog we can see this error:
%HARDWARE-2-FAN_ERROR: Fan Failure
%PLATFORM_ENV-1-FAN: Faulty fan detected
%PLATFORM_ENV-1-TEMP: Abnormal temperature detected
%HARDWARE-5-FAN_OK: Fan works fine
There are 3 stack-members. How do we figure out in which stack-member the fan is?
Answer : How to determine source of error on 3750-stack?
"sh env stack" should show where the bad fan is, sorted by switch #
"sh switch det" helps you associate a switch # with its MAC address (printed on the back of the switch)
