Question : mondoarchive not writing to tape

Recently I've found the tape ejected and mondoarchive reporting
 [Main] libmondo-stream.c->insist_on_this_tape_number
It tries about 40 times incrementing the number. The drive is onlne and appears OK
Mondoarchive has been running happily for a year until now.

1) Did you try with a new tape . old tapes can be troublesome

2) Can you put this on a desktop  test machine ( Xp  etc ) for your testing ?
