Question : Routing between vlan

Hi
I know how to route between vlan.
and i did this by using fast ethernet port

example :

configure terminal
interface FastEthernet0/0.20
 encapsulation dot1Q 20
 ip address 192.168.20.1 255.255.255.0

but the router i got, which is only Ethernet port , it does not have fast Ethernet..

and i believed you can use encapsulation dot1Q , with fast Ethernet only

but is there any way i can do this by Ethernet port only ??

thanks for your help

Answer : Routing between vlan

yes and no:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/routers/ps259/prod_bulletin09186a00800921e4.html

You have the config correct, so if you apply the config to a non-802.3u, say a 802.3i (10Mbps Ethernet)
and it fails and the device is not on that list, or not in the feature navigator for supported devices, then no.

Take care
