Question : Cepstral on CentOS 5.5 no sound

I have an open support ticket with Cepstral but they have been no help. Running this command

swift -n Callie-8kHz "hello wordasdfasdfasdfasdf" -o myaudiofile.wav - myaudiofile.wav only contains RIFF$WAVEfmt @?>data, and the audio data is never written to the output file. I have remove and reinstalled the Cepstral, and installed other voices all providing the same problem.

I have re-installed all the packages using "cat filelist.txt | xargs yum reinstall -y"


I have attached the Cepstral support conversation, and a list of installed packages.


I am looking for any help or direction, im trying not to wipe this box because its at a colocation facility.

thanks. i have changed the password that is old. And i have since resolved the problem.


for some reason localhost was not in the host file and that was the problem.
