Question : Tip regarding which technology need to learn
Hello Experts,
I'm sorry if my question is not correct for this site but I need some expert advice.
Please help me.
I'm working in COLDFUSION + MS SQL SERVER from couple of years.
I want to go forward,which technology I should go for?
My company wants PHP Develoepr so I'm currently learning PHP.
I'm interested in FLEX & Database Developement.
I already worked in ASP.NET,VB6,JAVASCRIPT,CRY
STAL REPORT,COLDFUSION,SQL SERVER
Can anyone please suggest me the right technology which will be useful for me in future.
Location is India.

It's always the best to learn and practice what you really enjoy. So, if you want to write complex queries, then write complex queries. Search for sql puzzles on google and you'll have material in 2 minutes. Go into sql-related zone here on EE and you will have even more material. Go into your local library and take the book by Joe Celko (or request the book by interlibrary loan if they don't have it, or buy at amazon).

CEO of big corporation or hedge fund manager is even better. It all depends on your goal. Set the goal, find out what's required to reach it, and move forward. If the goal is money, then find out what pays well, and move there. If the goal is job satisfaction, then see above. If the goal is job safety, consider working for the government (assuming that the government in India is as parasitic as here in the US).
