Question : Delete mailbox from Exchange 2007

Hi;

I removed an account of my ex-staff from Active Directory this morning but I forgot to remove his mailbox first therefore when I tried to remove his mailbox from Exchange 2007, it said that it cannot find the account from my domain controller.

I recreated the same user account in active directory then retry to remove the mailbox but still don't work.

How can I remove the mailbox in this case?

Answer : Delete mailbox from Exchange 2007

wait till tomorrow, exchange maintaince services will move the mailbox to disconnected mailboxes over night, if I remember right a 5am by default.

Then you can delete the mailbox withtin disconnected mailboxes.
