Question : What is the issue with this profile

My Windows XP system froze today and I had to manually power it down.  I rebooted and attempted to login and it just hung after entering password and hit enter. This happened a couple of times.  I then booted in safe mode to run system restore and still no luck.  I then logged into the second profile with no problem.  Tried to login in to primary profile again and still no luck.  Again, logged into the second profile with no problem.  Any thoughts on this issue?
