Question : Desktop icons all gone but now appear as links in taskbar
Hi,
One of our users has somehow managed to move the "desktop" to his taskbar. There is a menu which now pops up from the taskbar showing all the desktop items and the desktop is totally clear. If we try and drag from this menu back to the regular desktop area it simply create a new shortcut in the popup menu!
Any ideas how to restore this so that the icons/shortcuts appear as usual on the regular desktop?!

Answer : Desktop icons all gone but now appear as links in taskbar
right click on the task bar, goto toolbars, and uncheck desktop.
now right on the desktop , goto view and click show desktop icons
this will work
