Question : Three workstations down! Need help joing to Domain!
I have spent the last 5 hours rebuilding our DC from scratch, as well as the AD... and yes, every user... and I have been going around to each physical machine and rejoining them to our domain, and it has been working fine... until I reached the newest units. I have three Windows 7 machine, that absolutely refuse to reconnect to the domain on our 2003DC. They were set up fine on it initially, but when I put them in a workgroup, so that I could promote them again into the domain, they will not budge. I get either that the network paths are unavailable, or cannot communicate with the domain server. I have already done over 30 Xp machines, with no problems...
I have checked the TCPIP and NetBuois services, I have even put in a different NIC... still no go... I really need some help on this, as they units need to be functional tomorrow.

Check the TCP/IP version, if you use TCP/IP version 4 in Windows 2003 Domain use the same version in Windows7 also. just uncheck the TCP/IP 6.0 version in windows7.
