Question : Resetting a Spreadsheet
Here is a "stumper". I have a spreadsheet where changes are made and I'm interested in "resetting", after the changes, to the original spreadsheet fields; setting the changed fields to their original status. The workbook needs to be able to be saved with the changes but when activating a macro via a button, it needs reset itself. I have 2 macros now, one to reset specific ranges and cells (too limited), and another macro that refreshes the sheet by replacing itself by copying fields from another part of the spreadsheet. These options are not very good and quite honestly "ugly". Is there a way where a spreadsheet can be "refreshed" (button) to it's original status that is effective and reasonably simple?

You could also create a copy of the original sheet and keep it hidden in the workbook.
Every time you "reset", the macro simply creates a copy of that hidden sheet then make it visible.
